Travarica

Description

Travarica is a brandy made from grapevines with a strength of 42°C, enriched with various aromatic herbs that grow throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, such as sage, heather, juniper, wormwood, thyme, mint and others. It is produced by steam distillation of herbs in wine distillate and matures in stainless steel barrels, after which it is filled into 0.5 and 1 liter bottles. It is crystalline, light yellow in color, with a pleasant aroma and taste of grapes and Mediterranean herbs.

Characteristics

It has a refreshing taste and is served chilled at a temperature of 10-12°C, as an aperitif or after a hearty meal, and as a drink with coffee.
